Frontier Marketer supported BOB ORÉ's development across the United States, Europe, China and South Korea. The programme combined brand storytelling, celebrity and creator activity, media exposure and local channel execution for an emerging handbag brand.
Project at a glance
Client: BOB ORÉ
Category: Fashion handbags
Markets: United States, Europe, China and South Korea
Scope: Brand positioning, celebrity and creator partnerships, media, social, livestream commerce and local search and channel activity
Frontier's role: Cross-market brand and marketing support
The challenge
As an emerging brand, BOB ORÉ needed to build recognition and trust with a limited budget. The presentation also identifies a need to strengthen brand expression in a competitive category.
Expansion added another layer of complexity: channels, cultural references and purchasing behaviours differed across markets. A single distribution or content approach would not cover every market's needs.
Our insight & strategy
The programme connected a more developed brand story with local routes to visibility and purchase. The brand's Beverly Hills origin formed part of the positioning described in the presentation, while campaign execution varied by market.
The common thread was recognisable brand expression. The practical route to building awareness differed: media and styling exposure in one market, livestream commerce or local platform activity in another.
What we delivered
United States: brand narrative and media exposure
Work included strengthening the brand story and visual expression, celebrity seeding and outreach to fashion and mainstream media.
Europe: fashion creators and local visibility Celebrity and fashion-creator content was combined with media and social exposure to support awareness and audience development.
China: social discovery and commerce The programme included Xiaohongshu livestream collaborations, television-related exposure and social-account activity across Xiaohongshu, Douyin and Weibo.
South Korea: local content and channels Local creator activity, group-buying campaigns, Naver SEO and Kakao channel operations formed part of the market-specific approach.
Results & evidence
The presentation reports that the brand established an initial US market presence within one year, opened European markets, experienced sales growth in China and gained early traction in South Korea. It also describes continued development of brand expression and the product offering.
No market-level revenue, conversion, audience or media-performance dataset is provided. These outcomes are qualitative company-reported claims.
What made the difference
Brand strategy and local execution worked together. The project combined brand development with practical market activity.
Channels reflected the market. Media, creator content, livestreaming, local search and community commerce were used in different combinations.
Access was connected to delivery. The programme extended beyond introductions to include content and channel operations.
